Hey y’all.

First, I’d like to say thank you so much for coming to my page and wanting to learn a little bit about me. I started my time at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2015. I’m current a junior majoring in Psychology (B.S.) with minors in Entrepreneurship and Chemistry on the Pre-medical track. I am the service chair of the Theta Pi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc and serve as the Vice President for the Minority Association of Pre-Health Students (MAPS).

I still have a lot to learn in terms of learning how to enjoy the journey and not simply imagine and desire the end goal of “success  and happiness”. I plan on making this blog detail my journey to medical school and a young Latinx female. I will advise on some of the struggles I’ve faced as well as offer motivation to continue pursing the end goal while enjoying the journey.

I plan on becoming an entrepreneur and a surgeon, with hopes to attend a prestigious medical school. My path of getting admitted to medical school is still vastly unknown and nerve-racking but I know that a path exists. Then I will offer services to underrepresented groups in hopes to aid those who face or will inevitably face similar struggles as I.
